Core Gaming, official distributor of Nintendo in South Africa, is searching for a family of Nintendo fanatics to star in its next South African TV commercial, and you and your kin have a chance to be chosen!
On the 25th of June at Zoo Lake Park, Johannesburg, between 10am and 6pm, Core Gaming will be holding auditions for the first ever locally produced Nintendo TV advert.
You’ll need to head on over to www.lights-camera-play.co.za to register in order to guarantee your chance to audition on June 25th, and Core recommends that you “Pack your picnic basket, bring your friends and family and get ready for an action packed day in the sun.”
In addition, there will be other events and activities on the day, including Nintendo Wii and 3DS play zones, giveaways and a chance to meet Mario himself. If you’re concerned about missing the rugby that day, Core will have you covered with the game being played on big screens at the location.
So be sure to register you and yours at www.lights-camera-play.co.za, and look forward to the 25th of June - your family might just be the ones to star in the commercial!

Dang - would have been great to have a local Durban event because then little Hope Johnston would definitely have been the poster child for Nintendo SA :)
