Rugby World Cup 2011 from HB Studios and 505 Games has received brand new screenshots and official box art in the wake of the mighty E3 2011.
Releasing on August 26th this year across Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (and just in time for the real thing on September 9th), Rugby World Cup 2011 is the official game of this year’s rugby tournament in New Zealand and will feature all twenty of the participating countries, giving you a chance to take your favourite team through the competition to win the illustrious Webb Ellis Cup.
You’ll also be able to take the game online via Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network for a few one-on-one matches – the first time HB Studios has incorporated such a feature into one of its rugby games.

Comments:
these screenshots look great and so does the box art. i'm sure it will sell well in rugby-playing territories. i'd like to see some close-ups of the action before i form a proper opinion on the detail level of the graphics. can't wait for this one! it would be cool if they put a springbok player on the cover for the south african version like they did with the old EA rugby games. i reckon that's a good strategy to boost sales in a particular region!
Also looking forward to a good rugby title. I assume the only game mode is the World Cup and no Super Rugby competition....?
