THQ had a well-rounded line-up going into E3 and as a result we enjoyed some awesome screenshots and explosive trailers from the publisher.
There were a bunch of new reveals this week as well, with the official announcement of Darksiders II being at the top of list for me. Darksiders II, the sequel to Vigil Games’ 2010 original Darksiders game, sees players exploring the world of the Abyss as Death, the most feared of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Don’t miss the debut trailer and screenshots for what’s shaping up to be an epic adventure for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2012.
Another surprise announcement trickled out of the Nintendo E3 media briefing - Nintendo fans were delighted to hear that Darksiders II would be coming to the newly announced Wii U console in 2012 as well.
THQ also announced Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, a new third person arcade shooter headed to Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network this July. Fans of the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will especially be interested to hear that if you complete the first mission in Kill Team you’ll unlock the Power Sword weapon for use in Space Marine multiplayer.
THQ also released details of the new uDraw GameTablet which will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 this November. The publisher has had great success with the innovative peripheral on the Wii to date, so it’s no real surprise that it will now be bringing a new look design that incorporates console controls directly into the uDraw GameTablet and touch screen features.
First-person shooter fans must have been delighted to hear about Metro: Last Light. This sequel to Metro 2033, which is scheduled to be released sometime in 2012 across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms, is touted to feature an “epic” singleplayer campaign, “unique” multiplayer experience, and “extraordinary lighting, physics and destruction” technologies. Insane gameplay trailers and screenshots accompanied this announcement – and they’re not to be missed!
We also received news of a release date for Saints Row: The Third, Volition’s next crazy, way over-the-top open-world sandbox game. The game will be available across North America on the 15th of November, with PAL regions following on the 18th of November. Screenshots and a new trailer also accompanied this announcement.
THQ released a whole bunch of new information about UFC Undisputed 3, along with action-packed screenshots and trailer. This next installment to the popular mixed martial arts franchise will focus on “intense toe-to-toe combat, impressive visual presentation and significantly increased accessibility.” UFC Undisputed 3 is currently in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and is slated to be released in January 2012.
WWE fans must have been excited to hear that WWE 12 is in development, a game that promises to deliver an “electrifying rebirth” of the WWE franchise with “a bigger game, badder presentation and better simulation-based gameplay.” Fighting words indeed! Check out the debut trailer and screenshots to see if it’s living up to the hype so far, although there’s still quite some time before WWE 12 releases on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii on the 25th of November.

Comments:
THQ had an incredibly impressive line-up at E3 this year - solid and 'robust,' as investors would say.
Gamers would simply call it awesome! ;)
