THQ has just announced that over one million gamers have now downloaded the Red Faction Armageddon demo, which became available earlier in the month.

And with that awesome news, developer Volition has revealed that Mr Toots has been unleashed in Red Faction Armageddon.

What’s the big deal with Mr Toot’s? Well, I’m glad you asked!

Let me explain.

Mr Toots is ‘Earth’s most cuddly mythological creature and Mars’ most dangerous weapon,” the kind of mythical weapon that will “take down foes with rainbows!” Because he’s a “friendly rainbow-farting unicorn” of course.

“A miniature magical unicorn so powerful it lays entire cities to waste, Mr. Toots farts joyous rainbows of pure devastation. Never before has hyper-colored flatulence wrought such destruction, and, for the colonists of Mars in Red Faction: Armageddon, inspiration.”

I’m not kidding!

Watch the trailer below to see Mr Toots in action, and look forward to completing the single player campaign because he’ll then be added to your arsenal for free and you can “then run through the “New Game +” mode with Mr. Toots, causing colorful havoc all over the planet.”

Volition also hinted that there may be another way to unlock Mr Toots in-game, so stay tuned for more information as and when it hits the tubes!
