As Twitter followers of Cliff Bleszinski know by now, the creative director at Epic Games is very deft at dropping hints for upcoming announcements related to the developer’s in-development titles, and recently, he tweeted another mysterious clue about the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta.

From the tweet:

“What IS the surprise going to be tomorrow? [#Gears3Beta] CAN YOU GUESS IT ZOMG”

This message followed on from a similar tweet sent to the world by Epic Games’ Rod Fergusson, producer on Gears of War:

“Looking forward to the [#Gears3Beta] suprise tomorrow. Can’t wait! My weekend is now officially booked.”

However, another tweet by Fergusson revealed that the ‘surprise’ should have already rolled out by now. Do we know what this Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta bombshell is yet?

We already know about the planned ‘Never Fight Alone’ campaign, which will allow you to invite friends in the beta if you’ve been playing, so it can’t be that.
