After a follow-up to 4A Games’ Metro 2033 was mentioned last year by THQ’s Danny Bilson, a proper name has now been attached to the sequel – and it’s not Metro 2034!
Now known as Metro: Last Light, this game will serve as the second entry to the series of creepy first-person shooter/adventure games.
When Metro 2033 released in March of 2010, it was a pretty divisive title – some people loved it, some people hated it, and some people thought it was OK – and post-release support by THQ proper was poor to say the least.
THQ has stated previously that the game now known as Metro: Last Light will enjoy much better support, both pre- and post-release, than Metro 2033, while stereo 3D support will be built into the game, too.
We’ll be sure to hastily paste up any more information we can scrape together on Metro: Last Light when it’s available, most probably during E3 next month.
