Rockstar and Team Bondi continue their collective sales dominance in the UK this week as LA Noire (unsurprisingly) appears at the very top of Chart Track’s UK Software Sales listing, despite a 43% drop in sales compared to the week previous.
This means that debut title DiRT 3 from Codemasters is unable to claim No. 1 during its first week on sale, instead having to settle for No. 2.
According to Chart Track, a whopping 67% of DiRT 3’s sales were recorded on Xbox 360, while the PlayStation 3 version sold 37% of all units. Unfortunately, these numbers add up to 104%, but it can at least be assumed for now that Xbox 360 was the dominant sales platform.
LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (sales down 32%) steps down one place to No. 3 this week, while Zumba Fitness (sales up 19%) is a non-mover at No. 4. Getting ready to climb the chart again?
Brink (sales down 52%) drops two places from last week to No. 5, Wii Sports Resort (sales up 145%) rockets to No. 6 from No. 13, FIFA 11 (sales up 50%) steps up one place to No. 7, and Call of Duty: Black Ops (sales up 39%) moves up from No. 10 to No. 8.
Crysis 2 (sales down 12%) falls three places to No. 9 and Mario Kart Wii (sales up 148%) rounds out the Top Ten at No. 10, having moved from No. 23 to get there.
