Mortal Kombat may already be an incredibly feature-rich package, but developer NetherRealm Studios is looking to flesh out the experience further with a couple of DLC packs, which include klassic skins and fatalities, as well as a new character.
First up is a special bundle pack featuring all the pre-order DLC - it’ll cost you $4.99 (400 Microsoft points) and will be available on 7 June. Thankfully Sony has promised the PlayStation Store will be up by then so PlayStation 3 users should have no hassle purchasing the pack.
The bundle will include the klassic kostumes for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Ermac, Mileena, Jade and Kitana. You’ll also score klassic fatalities for Scorpion, Reptile and Sub-Zero:

The second piece of DLC introduces the violent vixen Skarlet, who “appeared” in Mortal Kombat II as a red palette swap of Kitana due to a coding glitch. The Skarlet DLC will be available sometime in June, and E3 attendees can get hands-on time with her at the Warner Bros. booth.

Comments:
Alternate costumes for 400msp? :P Sigh, I'll maybe get it if it's on sale, but buying alternate costumes feels like abit of a waste.
For just regular alternates I wouldn't be interested, but the MK1 and MK2 costumes take me back to when I first started playing MK, so for 400MSP I'm in.
By the way, I had a look around eBay for the pre-order codes when I first got the game and they were selling for as much as £30! Some people are crazy.
Yeah, there's been a bit of a 'to-do' over those codes on eBay - I heard Ed Boon himself was heartily discouraging people from buying them 'cause this DLC option was in the pipe.
Some people are crazy, indeed - crazy for Mortal Kombat! ;)
Cant WAIT for the DLC!!!!!!
Skarlet is looking hot...and Brutal!!!
