Sony has welcomed the European PS3 community back to online gaming. This comes after the publisher was able to bring its PlayStation Network service back to life following three weeks of inactivity.

The PlayStation Community Team promises “online fun nights, tournaments, competitions, hosted discussions on our forum and even the odd spectator event in PlayStation Home” over the next few weeks, no doubt the first of many plans to help make amends to gamers across the globe.
