Activision has just released three new screenshots for their upcoming action game X-Men Destiny. Although we still don’t know too many details about the game, the images show that we can look forward to plenty of action and combat when the title releases later this year.

What we do know is that X-Men Destiny promises to give players “unprecedented control of their fate,” casting players as “new mutant recruits in a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.”

X-Men Destiny is currently in development at Silicon Knights for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. Flick through our previous coverage for more information about the game, including the debut trailer.
