We’ve known the official North American release date for inFamous 2 for quite some time now. We’ve also known about the special editions of this high-octane action adventure game for almost three months.
In the interim, between these reveals and now, quite a lot of inFamous 2 media and information has also been released, with brand new trailers, screenshots and information on the mission creation aspect of the game.
But you know what important inFamous 2 information we haven’t seen yet? An official European release date announcement for the game, and clues about the special editions gamers in the region will be privy to on launch.
This changes now.
On June 10th, Germany, Ireland and the UK will see inFamous 2 launch to retail, while the other PAL regions will get the game on June 8th.
In addition, you’ll be able to get the Special Editions of inFamous 2 (which come standard with digital content including the the Electrocution Grenade power, Golden Amp and an exclusive Cole MacGrath skin from inFamous 1), pictured here:
As well as the Hero Edition (which includes a Lightning Hook downloadable power, Kessler skin, a Cole MacGrath figurine and inFamous comic from graphic novel legends DC Comics, a replica Cole MacGrath messenger bag and the inFamous 2 digital soundtrack):
Also, two Dualshock 3 inFamous 2 bundles will be available in June:
While a full-blown inFamous 2 PlayStation 3 bundle (320 GB) will go on sale:
