The internet has been buzzing with Dark Souls news ever since Namco Bandai held a press event in Dubai a couple of days ago, and here at El33tonline we feel it is our moral duty to bring every fresh facet of this awesome-looking action RPG to your attention.
Dark Souls’ official website has been updated with new screenshots (which we’ve included below, with more screenshots available over here for your viewing pleasure), and GameTrailers recently published an interview with Brian Hong - the senior global brand manager for Dark Souls (included below). This discussion is well worth watching if you’re interested in gaining insight into From Software’s design decisions ahead of the game’s October launch on Xbox 360 and PS3.
We’re awfully excited to play the “spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls,” and we’re guessing you are too. You can count on us to continue to feed your appetite for the latest Dark Souls news right here on El33tonline.

looks sweet!
i'm liking the snowy environment! should be epic(-: i'm so glad for from software that they've finally found a loyal, eager market!
so will this be 2 or 4 player co-op? coz demon souls have a co-op wich is really awesome :)
4 player co-op all the way fletbed! i'll let you know if i learn that this is not the case. i'm hoping for 2-vs-2, 3-vs-3 or 4-vs-4 modes! 1 versus 3 or 4 in demon's souls was no fun if you were the 1:'(
hahaha CANT WAIT!!!
me neither!(-:
me LOVE RPG!!!! so this will be like a small MMO lol or what. but the game looks realy cool. and i LOVE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!
Yeah, it's essentially a 'small MMO' - that's a good way to explain it. You can go on about your business and interact with other online players as you see the need.
That's my understanding of it, in any case. ;)
