During a recent press event in Dubai, Namco Bandai formally announced Soul Calibur V.
A trailer was shown to event attendees (which will hopefully pop up real soon, either officially or not) and a few details shared, but not much else.
Soul Calibur V is said to take place 17 years after the events of the fourth entry to the series, while the battle system has been improved, and new features added.
Like I said, not many real details to go on…
The main character this time around is a fellow name Patroclus, the son of Sophitia, and continues the ‘story’ of Soul Calibur IV.
Soul Calibur V is set for release in 2012, and more information on the game is expected later this month, and then again at E3 2011 in early June.
