UK Software Charts: Crysis 2 goes maximum to hit No.1 for week of April 2nd

In a week full of new game releases in the UK, it’s EA and Crytek’s mighty Crysis 2 that manages to claim the top spot on Chart Track’s software sales chart for the region, sitting at No. 1 for the second week in a row.

Zumba Fitness (sales up %3148 from 505 Games (in the UK) hits No. 2, and just behind Crysis 2 (sales down 35%) by 500 units. The fitness title is ahead of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (sales down 29%), however, which steps down one place to No. 3 this week.

Debut racing title SHIFT 2 Unleashed appears on the chart at No. 4, while Homefront (sales down 51%) makes way for these new Top Ten chart show-offs and slinks to No. 5 from No. 3 last week. Two other titles new to the UK sales chart, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters and WWE All Stars, present themselves at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively.

FIFA 11 makes up a few positions on the chart by elbowing its way to No. 8 from No. 10, Pokemon White Version slips to No. 9 from No. 5 last week, and Art Academy makes another go of it by charting at No. 10.

Another debut game, MotorStorm Apocalypse, fails to break the Top Ten and shows up unfashionably late at No. 17.
