Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation Network will be going offline for roughly eleven hours today for planned maintenance, which of course means you won’t be able to play any games online, or access the PlayStation Store.
Here are the times during which the PlayStation Network will be down around the world:
Pacific Time:
- Down Time (Start): Wednesday, March 9, 8:00 AM, Pacific Time
- Down Time (End): Wednesday, March 9, 7:00 PM, Pacific Time
GMT:
- Down Time (Start): Wednesday, March 9, 4:05 PM GMT
- Down Time (End): Wednesday, March 10, 3:00 AM GMT
South Africa:
- Down Time (Start): Wednesday, March 9, 6:05 PM
- Down Time (End): Wednesday, March 10, 5:00 AM
AEST:
- Down Time (Start): Wednesday, March 9, 5:05 AM AEST
- Down Time (End): Wednesday, March 10, 3:00 PM AEST
During this downtime you will:
- Not be able to access the PlayStation Store
- Have difficulty signing in to the PlayStation Network
- Not be able to play online games
- See a maintenance page when attempting to access the PlayStation Network
(Note: When you log into the PlayStation Network, a message may appear which states, “the PlayStation Network has been suspended”. This does not mean that your account has been suspended; it simply means the PlayStation Network has been taken offline.
