After a series of unfortunate delays, FEAR 3 from Warner Bros. Interactive and Day 1 Studios has been given a new official release date for the UK, at which time all of us will be cowering in terror while sat in front of our PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/PC (as applicable).
May 27th is when those of you living in the British Isles (and presumably Europe and South Africa) will get the chance to play FEAR 3, and finally get to grips with the horror-themed first-person shooter’s ‘divergent cooperative’ gameplay as you take on the role of the militarian (and incredibly quick) Point Man, or the ghostly (and ghastly) psychic , Paxton Fettel.
Both characters have very different (but complimentary) abilities, and you’ll be able to play as either of them in the campaign’s cooperative mode. If you’re playing solo you’ll be have to use Point Man on his lonesome, but as you complete each of FEAR 3’s levels, the chance to destroy and shred enemies in singleplayer with Paxton Fettel will be unlocked, too.
You can catch the latest dreadful (in a good way) trailer for FEAR 3 over here, and rummage through El33tonline’s previous coverage of the game for more videos, screenshots and morsels of information.
