Sony Computer Entertainment and Sucker Punch have just announced an official North American release date for the pair’s electrically charged action game, inFamous 2, while revealing special editions and pre-order bonuses for both North America and Europe.

inFamous 2 is ready to release on June 7th in North America, but no official date has been announced for Europe and the UK. Judging by normal tradition, we could expect the game to become available in these regions on June 10th, but crazier things have happened.

Also revealed was a ‘Hero Edition’ of inFamous 2 (going for an MSRP of $99.99 in the US), which includes the following items:

• a highly detailed 8.5” Cole MacGrath statue
• a sportable sling pack modeled after Cole’s own in-game gear
• the inFAMOUS #1 mini comic from DC Comics
• the official inFAMOUS 2 HERO Edition Soundtrack
• a super voucher code for a collection of in-game content

In Europe and PAL regions, a Special Edition inFamous 2 package is also planned which features a “stunning HD 3D lenticular cover,” with both ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ variants, both of which contain download codes for these exclusive in-game items:

• Electrocution Grenade’ limited edition power
• ‘Original Cole’ skin
• ‘Golden Amp’

You’re also able to pre-order the regular edition of inFamous 2, and at certain retailers around the world, you’ll be eligible for the following in-game items and accessories:
