Beautiful Alice: Madness Returns trailer is a nightmare
American McGee and production house Spicy Horse is currently hard at work on a follow-up to the PC classic ‘American McGee’s Alice’ in the form of Alice: Madness Returns, and from the previously released screenshots and in-game trailer, it’s looking suitably bizarre.
In the trailer below, Alice awakens in a mystical wonderland, but the dream is soon sent plummeting into a nightmare. Creepy stuff.

Alice: Madness Returns is due for release this year on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

I hope this is awesome. I played the original Alice about 3 days ago and the experience was still as awesome as ever. The graphics might have degraded a bit from what I remember but the game is still awesome.
I'm also hoping for good things from Alice: Madness Returns - the first one was an instant classic, and it's possible that American McGee and co. can ratchet the experience up a couple notches now with new technology and years of pent up ideas.
