The FIFA titles on PSP are somewhat underwhelming but EA Sports is looking to raise the bar considerably with FIFA Football on PS Vita.
The game has most of the bells and whistles of FIFA 12 on PS3, along with a number of exciting new features which give football fans unprecedented control over where the ball goes during passing, shooting and set pieces (such as free kicks).
I’ve assembled two gameplay videos for you below which highlight the new control options at your disposal. FIFA Football makes use of the PS Vita’s touch screen and rear touch pad during gameplay to afford your passes and shots a level of precision which is missing from the console version. Needless to say, fans of virtual football will be anxiously awaiting the game’s February release!
