After a quick-fire round of reports and leaked screenshots, Activision has confirmed that Xbox 360-exclusive downloadable content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is on the way.
When can we expect this DLC? Infinity Ward’s creative strategist Robert Bowling has the scoop:
Bowling told the world about the Modern Warfare 3 DLC in a video outlining new Call of Duty Elite updates, saying
“The way we’re doing downloadable content this year is unlike we’ve never done before,” said Bowling. “Not only in how you can get it – in content drops or choose for the collection – but also the type of content you’re getting. We’re doing more than just maps. We’re going to do Spec Ops missions and a variety of things that players have never seen before.”
The Xbox 360-exclusive DLC for Modern Warfare 3 is said to be arriving on January 24th 2012, while a PS3 and PC release date for the content has yet to be revealed.

Noice, me wants! Regarding Elite, I recently got MW3 and whenever I try to download Elite (feel like spelling it like El33t ;) ) I get an error message that the marketplace is down or something like that /: is this happening to you guys as well?
@MacDeath you need to activate it from the US or UK accounts if you have one or simply just create a new US one and play MW3.
Or @MacDeath must just play BF3 online with us....its where the party is at. FEEL THE BATTLE......

@MacDeath that is the wrong platform........I'm tempted to get the game on the PC so I can join the 64player matches.....and some of the El33t P33ps with PC copies and then a PS3 version so I can Join the El33t P33ps on the PS3 version. But no matter what platform you are on, JOIN the El33t_P33ps Platoon on battlelog. Its the right thing to do. And yes, I'm a BF3 Addict too

I tried joining El33t_P33ps but I can't cause it's an Xbox Platoon :( I did become a fan though :D
I'll have a look at that. Maybe I can change it to support multiple platforms. if not, I'll create a PC platoon for El33t_P33ps
