The Metal Gear Solid series has earned a special place in the hearts of millions of gamers from all corners of the world since its debut in 1998. Now Kojima Productions is inviting you to share your fondest memories of this five-game franchise on the Metal Gear Solid Interactive Timeline.
The timeline has two separate channels: one dealing with historical and fictional events directly related to the Metal Gear Solid series, and another chronicling people’s personal MGS memories.
It’s a simple process to add your own MGS memory to the timeline, and you can even upload photos and videos to accompany it.
It’s fascinating to read how people’s lives have been enriched by the vision of MGS creator Hideo Kojima, and it becomes clear after reading just a few entries that the Metal Gear Solid games provided the impetus for many people to pick up a PS1, PS2, PS3 or PSP.
What’s your favourite memory related to the Metal Gear Solid series? Be sure to add it to the MGS Interactive Timeline and also the comments section below.

I'm sad to say I've never played any MGS games. Want to pick up the HD trilogy pack and get the new one coming out soon.
if you're talking about metal gear rising: revengeance then don't hold your breath - it's still some ways aways...o_O maybe holiday 2012?
That's why the Trilogy HD pack will keep me busy.
WHAT!!!! not even the classic PSone MGS. Download it now from PSN the graphics may look well ugly but that's MGS.
ok so for me it would MSG from the PS1 when u get the stealth suite from finishing the game man its so fun using it. OOOOH and thier is this one part when you rescue the girl from the prison where you have to crawl through the vents and if you do it properly u see her in her underwear, the the other part would be Sniper Wolf when u trying to get to her and u have to get the wolves to pee on your box so they wont see u......."Havat you Snake"!!!!! one last thing was when u have to fight Sycho Mantis took me forever to figure out that i had switch my controller into the second port so that he could not read your moves................man that was an awesome game......i want to play it all over again
The Psycho Mantis fight is one of my all-time favorite boss battles and also the The End boss battle on Snake eater took me 4 hours to finish that fight and then the old man died of old age in the battle CLASSIC!!!. I almost cried after the battle with Sniper wolf when Otacon came proclaiming his love to to her. Classic!!!
I like part2...."hey you...you playing too much, time to switch off the machine"
Viking walks up to the PS2
"hey you...why you so close to the TV"
I was like WTF........ROTFLOL
@Smuroh the battle with Mantis also baffled me until my friend ask me why is the second controller vibrating.
uuuuuuuuuh, the PS1 daysssssss, wow. i miss those days, now im old,.... like so old.....like so older......like so Elder Scrolls lol
@bronwin ha ha ha ha classic.................i think i should find a PC port for MSG from the PS1............got all these memories rushing back.......and that sound in my head from when the guards notice you................http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpG9XIfFkE0
wish they can bring a remake of it on xbox :(
@fletbed: the HD remake is on Xbox :) not sure which games it includes though
The best part of any game I've ever played should be battling/hunting 'The End' in MGS 3: Snake Eater. The only other MGS title I've played is MGS 4. I can't wait to play the HD collection
i know but the PS1 Metal gear solid stays on playstion >:(
