Epic Games recently went and unveiled the next title it’s currently working on, Fortnite, and true to the word of the Gears of War studio, it won’t include ‘space marines’ and is indeed ‘very different’ to the developer’s previous games… although it does include what appear to be cartoon-like zombies in what we’re led to believe is an action-packed ‘defence’ type of game.
See for yourself in the very first teaser trailer and discover why ‘Fortnite’ is such a fitting title:

Comments:
No real idea of gameplay from the teaser, but it looks like it could be fun. Do we really need more zombie games, though? Even Naughty Dog is apparently making one.
You're referring to The Last of Us from Naughty Dog?
Yeah, from what we can extract, it seems as though Fortnite will be an expanded version of Call of Duty's Zombie mode or Gears of War's Horde Mode, with a focus on defensive strategies and building structures. We'll wait and see for official details, but this is a good bet.
Fortnite of War staring Martin Lenix,Don San,August Fire and Brad Vox in a epic adventure to survive on the home world Maria. During the day they are fun peaceful loving people but night they will have to survive wave upon wave of hungry zombie rabbits???
ROFL ;)
Wait what? "One of 5 games currently in the works at Epic Games?" I dunno if that's a good or bad thing. I mean 5 new games by Epic: WIN! But each game's attention is possibly divided by 5? Let's hope this doesn't turn into an Epic Fail (lol) ;)
It's not confirmed whether or not those five games are completely new IP or not, but yeah. Five. Epic is pretty big at the moment and can probably handle at least two full time projects, not to mention the addition of Chair and People Can Fly to the 'family.'
Their next games are probably included in the five, too, while Bleszinski might also be referring to pre-production games. Five is easily done. ;)
When you've got Cliffy B on your side, anything's easily done ;) I really hope one of those games is Bulletstorm 2 though. It got mixed reviews and apparently People Can Fly made a loss on the game. I can't imagine why, I though it was a really good, innovative and funny game.
OK this better have Co-Op and at least 4 player, not much to go on game play but this looks set to be really funny, EPIC can def handle the production of 5 games and i know they wont dissapoint
Im disappoint. :(
Will almost definately have Co-op & MP, EPIC is big on MP.
