2K Games has announced that Duke Nukem Forever will be receiving a new set of multiplayer and singleplayer downloadable content next week when ‘The Doctor Who Cloned Me’ arrives on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
According to 2K Games, Duke Nukem Forever: The Doctor Who Cloned Me is “bursting with all of the over-the-top Duke goodness fans love. Deep in the heart of Area 51, Dr Proton has been hatching his evil plan. Fueled by new ego boosts, Duke is ready to take on evil clones, aliens queens and anything else that comes his way in order to save the world and his babes!”
In addition, the singleplayer campaign portion of the content brings with it “new weapons, all-new enemy types and bosses, more Achievements/Trophies and brand new interactive items within the world.”
As for the multiplayer portion of the DLC, players will get four new online arenas, namely:
SKY HIGH: The alien-infested corporate offices of Pooty, Inc. near the center of Las Vegas. This map includes three indoor floors taken over by the aliens and two rooftops, jump pads, stairwells, and building-to-building combat.
COMMAND: EDF command center with an imprisoned BattleLord at its core! A two-level map featuring winding stairs, straightaway corridors, and jump pads.
DROP ZONE: Rooftop of Duke’s Lady Killer Casino featuring indoor and outdoor combat and stairwells for platforming, an EDF dropship on landing pad, and a bottomless pit.
BIOHAZARD: Fight in the Breston Plant Nuclear Power facilities and compete across multiple floors in locker rooms, restrooms with showers, control rooms, and the nuclear waste storage room.
Duke Nukem Forever: The Doctor Who Cloned me is due for release next week, from December 13th, across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms for $9.99/800 Microsoft Points.

Comments:
Duke are you still alive, i know you werent all bad but you wont't be getting my moola. I am keeping it save for Borderlands 2, Colonial marines is a wait and see for me.
You've gotta give it to Gearbox though, they are persistent! And (for most of the time) they know what they're doing. So if they actually took the time to make DLC after the failcake that was Forever, it might have miraculously redeemed itself. This might finally be the Duke we're looking for! ... Wishful thinking though
I still need to try Duke Nukem Forever, well i actually still need to buy it but so many other games have taken up residence in my 360 and PC
I'm one of the few people that actually enjoyed DNF. I had some good laughs and some irritations in the game. but I enjoyed it, never tried the MP. But if the bring a Single player DLC out then I'll get it. Please don't shoot me for liking DNF please.
Someday I will open my copy of DNF... someday. Im even a member of the first access club so I think I get this DLC for free too. :)
