First image of next Alan Wake game goes live ahead of full reveal
While the full reveal for the next Alan Wake game from Remedy Entertainment will take place on December 10th during this year’s edition of the Spike Video Game Awards, Game Informer has gone live with the very first screenshot from the game to tease us into oblivion:
We would attempt to speculate on what we’re seeing in this image, but we might just be berated by everyone later… but we’re still going to ask you what clues we can find in the screenshot!
Don’t forget to tune into El33tonline following the Spike VGA Awards 2011 for all of the reveals and new information, including the announcement of a new BioWare game and further details on Metal Gear Solid: Rising!

I'm so excited about this game that i started playing the first one. the bit I played was awesome. The controls are alot better than the last Alone in the dark. I love games like this. Can't wait to see more on this game. The screen looks really good.
I might sneak in another playthrough of Alan Wake before the downloadable game arrives - there were so many moments in that first game that have stuck with me. I thought it was an outstanding game, but some people felt the gunplay got a bit repetitive.
I can see why, but Remedy used the Light/Dark systems very well and I wasn't bored for a second. Dang... thinking of it makes me want to play!
I just remembered that I purchased the DLC when it was on special on XBLM but never played it. sigh Yet another game to add to my ever growing playing list. lol.
Need to get my hands on the first one, everyone says its really good
I'm not going to lie: I wish this was on the PS3 as well. But alas. Pity it's been reduced to a DL only game. :/
But we can safely assume it's going to have... SPOILER flashlights in. O_O
@Smuroh - When I finish the game you can borrow my copy of the game. Don't know how long its going to take you to finish it......(Did you finish AC2....o wait, you on the battlefield with me....nevermind)
I think this is going to be a good DL game, and I think its just a cover for the MAIN sequel release....
Alan Wake finished it once never played it again because of Deadspace 2 like to play really really scary game and Alan did not keep me Awake but still a good game. Maybe give it a try when i have some ms points left-over from the other downloads on Xboxlive. Maybe El33t can organise a Xboxlive tournament where the prizes can be MS points and some arcade downloads.
I second on the Xboxlive tournament for MS Points. and arcade downloads. I've started the game and it was good for the part i played. Still need to play Dead Space 2.
Deadpsace 2 scared the "bejebus"out of me at some places but it was not as scary as the first game still need to finish DS2 on hard mode can only save 2 or 3 times in the whole game now that is the most scarriest part of all.
