While the countdown continues in other parts of the world, there are people in some countries lucky enough to have already got the chance to lay hands on their retail copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3… like a bunch of fine fellows and fellowettes in Australia!
The official Call of Duty Twitter account just posted the photo below, showing a collection of super hardcore Call of Duty fans at one of the midnight launch events that must have just taken place in Australia!
Where else will you be able to pick up you copy of Modern Warfare 3? How can you watch the festivities?
In South Africa, BT Games will be holding midnight launch events at select outlets across the country, and you can find a handy list of these stores at the official website over here.
In addition, the Modern Warfare 3 launch event in London will be streamed through the game’s YouTube channel over here, with things kicking off at 7PM (UK time).
Of course, those of you in the US will no doubt be spoiled for choice as to which GameStop midnight launch event you attend, while more events are taking place in cities around Europe, such as Paris, where Sledgehammer Games’ Glen Schofield will be in attendance (as revealed in a recent Twitter post).

Comments:
I would have loved to get the game, but sadly my budget didn't allow it. Will get it on a later stage. I'm happy with BF3 at the moment and I also have some AAA class games still needed to be played. But the near future I'll get this game.
