Despite a slow start, the 3DS appears to be picking up momentum as we approach the all-important holiday season. With titles like Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Generations and Mario Kart 7 just weeks away, Nintendo’s handheld is finally getting the type of software support which was so badly lacking at launch.
3DS owners can now also look forward to a new Legend of Zelda title, which is in the early stages of development according to a recent interview with series’ director Eiji Aonuma.
Aonuma states that unlike The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Nintendo’s next Zelda project on 3DS will be an original entry in the series and incorporate many popular elements from previous Zelda titles.
Aonuma made no mention of a potential release window for the game, but hopefully Nintendo clarifies this detail along with plenty of others via an official announcement in the coming months.
We’ll keep you posted on Link’s upcoming portable adventure so stay tuned to El33tonline for the latest news on one of Nintendo’s most endearing series.

Can't wait to hear more about this news!
I don't know if i should one day buy this bundle or the Red 3DS.......i would love to get a 3DS to play some of those good upcoming games like Mario, Resident Evil etc. will look out for more info on this. I've actually never played a Zelda game, ever.
just to be clear - this bundle is the one for ocarina of time 3d, not the new 3DS zelda title. i really like that triforce decal!(-:
the decal on the 3DS looks awesome. Would love to have the decal in gold on a Red 3DS.....and on a black wii with the gold decal.....
i always wanted know why many love this game, maybe i should try it :)
