For the week of October 24th, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 were still the most played games over Xbox LIVE, despite the release of Battlefield 3 that same week.
There’s just no stopping the Call of Duty beast!
The player numbers for the Call of Duty games were no doubt spurred on by their respective Double XP Weekend offers – a period of time that would have been included in this latest Xbox LIVE activity chart – which unfortunately means that Battlefield 3 was denied first place on the list… and second place, even, having to be content with third.
Newer release Gears of War 3 settled in at fourth on the list of most played games on the service, while FIFA 12 came in at fifth.

Interesting, if MW2 and Blops beat out BF3 then MW3 sure is going to trample it.
I think the problem with BF3 not being on the top is because of the server issues they were having. Me and Smuroh had a funny thing happen lastnite, where it couldn't find the EA servers and lost connection. Maybe when its fixed it will start picking up speed.
wait but u guys need to think that MW2 and Blops have been going for a while now so ofcourse they are going to be at the top because everyone has those games, and the other fact is ppl are still stuck into the whole lone wolf "im going to kill a whole army" attutude and BF3&2 are the total opposite you need to work as a team to get the job done.
