This week’s Media Create software chart is led by Square Enix’s latest blockbuster - Final Fantasy Type-0. This massive RPG spread over two UMDs has incredible production values for a handheld title (as anyone who’s played the demo will tell you) and a huge cast of characters to interact with. The game sold an impressive 472 253 retail copies in its opening week, and I’m sure the digital version on the PlayStation Store fared just as well with the UMD-less, backwards compatible PS Vita just around the corner.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land on the Wii took second spot with 136 811 copies sold during the latest accounting period, proving that Kirby is just as popular as ever in its country of origin.
The rest of the new entries in the top ten are Japanese-developed games for either PS3 or PSP. These include, among others, The Idolmaster 2, an expansion for Disgaea 4 and the sports-themed visual novel Ro-Kyu-Bu! on PSP.
Be sure to check out this week’s hardware chart and browse through the full list of top performing software below.

Well that was expected for Final Fantasy to sell well. That's like taking a bunch of Chocolate cookies to El33t towers and before you know it, it will be all finished......
