Last week select members of the press were invited to a PS Vita event in London where various PSV games and applications could be sampled. Twitter was one of the ‘Social Essentials’ applications on display, and the PlayStation Blog’s James Gallagher was there to test out its custom interface and touchscreen support.
Check out the video below to see how you’ll use Twitter on PSV. I especially like the way word suggestions appear above the on-screen keyboard as you type, and the overall layout seems very intuitive.
Sony has confirmed that PSV will launch with at least four Social Essentials applications - Facebook, FourSquare, Flickr and Twitter. The PlayStation Blog promises to post video demos of the remaining three applications in the near future so stay tuned to El33tonline for more PS Vita coverage as we edge closer to its February 22nd launch.

I've fell inlove with the PS Vita since day one. I really really want one. the unit is just perfect and with the apps they going to make available on the unit is sweet. I know there is another PS3 firmware update coming soon that will allow PS Vita remote play function.
