If you currently reside in “the 50 United States or Washington, D.C.” then you’re eligible for a full four-day weekend of free Xbox LIVE as Microsoft celebrates Thanksgiving in the country from today (November 24th) until the end of Sunday (November 27th).
But that’s not all!
Microsoft is also dropping prices on a variety of Xbox LIVE, PC and Windows Phone games, as well as downloadable content, while offering Xbox LIVE subscriptions at lower than normal rates.
You can see the full list of games and promotions on the official Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales page over here, as well as another full and compiled list over at Major Nelson’s blog - lots of great stuff through there so check it out!
It may be safe to assume that these special prices are only available to residents of the United States, but let us know if you manage to snag a deal if you’re outside of the country - Major Nelson’s blog post in particular mentions different regions, so we might all be able to ‘take advantage.’

Now why dsnt SA do stuff like this, oh thats right we too worried about trying to pass a law that lets our politicians get a way with what ever they like, silly me
Really looking forward to the Black Friday sale, picked up 2 full games, DLC and some Avatar armour (don't judge me) for about 700-800 points.
I'm so going to dig into this sale. Got my MSP from El33t (Thanx for that) and now i just need to figure out what i should buy.
