It’s just been officially announced that Gears of War 3 players will be able to indulge in a bit of free downloadable content later this month with the ‘Versus Booster Map Pack.’
The Versus Booster Map Pack for Gears of War 3 will include five multiplayer maps new to the game, with re-imagined versions of ‘Swamp’ and ‘Clocktower’ from the original Gears of War set to be included.
The three additional maps introduced with the just-released Horde Command Pack will also feature in the Versus Booster pack, namely ‘Azura,’ ‘Rustlung’ and ‘Blood Drive.’
Epic is quick to point out that those of you who purchase (and have purchased) the Horde Command Pack shouldn’t feel hard-done by, as this content still includes exclusive fortification upgrades, playable characters and weapon skins. You can decide if 800 MS Points is worth all of that, as well as early access to those three maps.
Look out for the free Versus Booster Map Pack for Gears of War 3 on November 24th to get your hands on those additional five maps!
