Rockstar Games certainly know how to get gamers excited for their upcoming titles. If you think of their past trailers for Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and more recently Grand Theft Auto V - there’s always something about them which makes you sit up and take notice.
The latest example of this ‘Rockstar Effect’ is the first in a five-part “Design and Technology” video series. This 4-minute featurette is comprised entirely of in-game sequences and gives you an early glimpse at Max Payne 3’s targeting mechanics, character movement and animation, enemy AI and the incredible Bullet Time mechanic which is a staple of the series.
The next four episodes will explore these areas in more detail so stay tuned to El33tonline for these fascinating insights into one of the most exciting and explosive action games of 2012.

I really can't wait for this game. It looks really good and I really like how the game is going to work. Its going to be pure Awesomeness. The only thing that bugs me little big is that they made him look to much like a character from GTA. But I can look past. I WANT it now.
i'm also not a fan of his 'new look', but that gunplay looks awesome! can't wait to dive through open doorways and take out the room's inhabitants before i even hit the ground(-:
I think the gunplay is what makes this game so awesome. Love the way you can just run but will be able to shoot 360 degrees if you want, and the movement is so perfectly done. just watched the trailer again. Its going to be Super awesome. Can't wait
the is game is going to be insane, im looking forward to see how the AI actually react, the combat system looks so clean and fluid, and bullet time (yhea baby) looks sweet with the kill cam....and from the looks of it you start off with his old look and then move into the new look and we will have to see how the story plays out to find out why....i think this game is going to push allot of boundries whwn it comes to 3rd person shooters, this is going onto my pre-order list
Thanks Tom for helping us through a rather dreary Friday in Durbs...when will the sun return? This game is looking epic and I know Ed is going to have a tough time with all our reviewers screaming for the chance to get their hands on it.

This is awesome weather, perfect for gaming as the Consoles and PC's don't get that hot. the only issue i have with the weather is my Car can't be washed and its getting really dirty now. Did someone say Tekken film.....I'm there in a flash
