If you’re old enough to remember the early days of the PlayStation brand then you’re probably familiar with the four Crash Bandicoot games Naughty Dog developed for the PSone. These colourful and light-hearted romps had advanced graphics for their time and provided Sony Computer Entertainment with the mascot they so desperately needed to compete with Nintendo’s Mario and Sega’s Sonic.
PlayStation Plus members in North America will be offered these titles - Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3 and CTR: Crash Team Racing - for free when the PS Store update goes live later today. According to the PlayStation Blog they will be available as a free download for the “better part of November”.
I know I’m looking forward to revisiting Naughty Dog’s first franchise and remembering how impressive Crash Bandicoot’s scrolling 3D environments and eclectic soundtrack seemed back in 1996. Anyone who’s a fan of the Uncharted series and hasn’t played Naughty Dog’s previous games should definitely check out these classics to see where it all began!

Damn, lucky PS Plus members. Now that is awesome.
this is why i love ps3 free stuf, something that so hard for Microsoft to do
These games were absolute classics - I played the first three and enjoyed all of them, although I was a little younger back then... wonder how they hold up.
ps plus members in the US also got the first three resident evil games for free a couple of months back. makes me happy that my plus subscription is tied to my US account(-:
Played all these games, loved all of them me and my friends Fletbed, Bro october had some crazy night with Crash team racing and Quake 2 multiplayer back in the day. Brings back memories. Nice for US PSN plus guys.
Being a PSN Plus member, is the game actually still free??? i know if the subscription expires the games expire aswell. Won't they have like a limited life span??? if you can keep them for ever even if your subscription expires I'll get a month sub now so i can get these games. Loved them.
