While it can certainly be ‘a problem’ to have too many players for a game of Gears of War 3, it’s a nice ‘problem’ to have!
Capcom has announced that when the publisher’s Resident Evil: Revelations for 3DS is released in Europe in late January 2012, the action game will be available both as a standalone title as well as a bundle with the announced Circle Pad Pro 3DS peripheral.
The time has come to begin the second stage of voting to form an ultimate Game of the Year Nominees list with El33tonline!
The first round of voting on the first draft of the Nominees resulted in Alice: Madness Returns and NHL 12 being removed from the list, and Dead Space 2 and Portal 2 being added to the list.
Crysis 2, Mortal Kombat and Kirby’s Epic Yarn all came very close to being voted out, while great support was shown for new additions Killzone 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Bastion.
Now, it’s time to further tighten up the list of Game of the Year Nominees by voting on the second draft.

By now, most of the world knows that Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is an exceptional game and a very worthy follow-up to the outstanding Uncharted 2.

It’s been twenty years since Sonic first raced onto the scene in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive. The spiky blue speedster has had his fair share of ups and down during the last two decades but is back with a bang in Sonic Generations.
The game is essentially a tribute to two decades worth of Sonic titles, featuring levels, characters and bosses that will be instantly familiar to fans of the series - this is not, however, an attempt on Sega’s part to cash in on Sonic’s 20th anniversary. Rather, Sonic Generations is packed to the brim with entertaining content designed to appeal to anyone who’s ever enjoyed a 2D or 3D platformer.

After shipping ten million units and selling five million copies during the week of launch, EA’s chief financial officer Eric Brown has revealed that Battlefield 3 from DICE has gone on to sell an additional three million units since late October.
I thoroughly enjoyed last year’s EyePet: Move Edition which was a well-crafted and fun Augmented Reality (AR) experience for the whole family. EyePet & Friends adds some new ingredients to the mix, including a fresh batch of mini-games and a greater emphasis on customisation. The biggest and best new feature, however, is the ability to rear two pets simultaneously using two Move controllers – either on your own or with a friend.

The highlight of this week’s US PlayStation Store update is the return of Sly Cooper in HD. All three PS2 titles starring the cunning thief have been remastered in HD and feature trophy and 3D support. You can purchase them separately for $9.99 or buy the complete bundle for $29.99, so it makes sense to first play through one before purchasing the rest of the collection.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can download a free 60-minute trial of all three Sly games, as well as one for de Blob 2 which is now a downloadable title on the Store. If you like what you see then you can pick up de Blob 2 for just $10 - half its regular price.
Microsoft recently sent out word that its Xbox 360 managed to sell nearly 1 million units during the week of Black Friday in the US, and over the course of the Thanksgiving holiday in the country.
This news follows an announcement by Nintendo that on Black Friday (November 25th) alone, the Wii sold half a million units.
