When Konami’s PES 2012 releases around the world over the week of October 11th, the publisher will ensure gamers have a little something extra (and free) to look forward to in the game with the addition of downloadable content that aims to update player team rosters, as well as revise a few of the settings for the game’s clubs and players.
Thirteen new styles of boots will also appear in PES 2012 with the DLC. Here’s the full scoop from Konami:
“Konami is to release a free downloadable update for the PlayStation, Xbox 360 and Window PC versions of the game, which will update the club team rosters in line with all current transfers. The publisher will also use the DLC to update the skill parameters of players, and to update the kits of several club teams.
“In total 160 clubs will be updated, with hundreds of players benefiting from more realistic stats and abilities that are tailored to their real-life playing style.”
And what about those boots? New footwear from manufacturers such as Adidas, Puma and Nike will be included, while 29 teams will enjoy updated kits, including Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
