Battlefield 3 launched into retail in the UK last week and effortlessly rocked the top spot on Chart Track’s latest UK Software Sales listing, becoming the UK’s tenth biggest week-one seller in terms of units sold, and the ninth biggest by revenue.
In addition, Battlefield 3 has outsold EA’s previous military-themed first-person shooter, Medal of Honor, by 2 to 1 in a similar timeframe, while week-one sales of Battlefield 3 are said to be greater than all of the launch week performances of every previous Battlefield game, combined.

Comments:
I'm really happy that BF3 is on top as its just an awesome game. want to go home now and play some more. Zumba Fitness just doesn't want to die at the looks of it. it keeps staying in the top 10......lol. WIll have to see if BF3 can keep the top spot this week.
Uncharted 3 will give Battlefield 3 a run for its money, I think, especially given that it's releasing a few days earlier than usual (not a normal Friday release), despite the fact that it's only available on a single platform.
That's the only challenger to Battlefield 3 this week, but Modern Warfare 3 will release next week and clean the chart's clock.
Go Battlefield! This time next week, my eyes will be glued to see how MW3 does...
I would like to see how Halo Anniversary is going to sell and Assassins Creed and what about Rayman Origins.....
