Countdown clocks for game announcements are usually things to be reviled, but the gaming media at large talks about them anyway because, in the end, they’re exciting and generally tick down to some or other cool reveal.
This countdown clock for Grand Theft Auto V trailer is definitely something to get excited about.
The announcement of an incoming Grand Theft Auto V trailer, and therefore an informal announcement of Grand Theft Auto V itself, was made yesterday to the shock of just about everyone - we all knew a fifth game in the open-world action series was on the way, but the reveal was a nice surprise.

cool, El33t needs some countdown timers for the Comps.......will have to wait and see if the announcement is going to be as awesome as everybody is hoping its going to be.
The countdown is going to reach zero everybody will be waiting for the trailer to start on they will show only 1 screenshot and it's finish with the release date at the end 2013. And that screen shot is the SA flag. MUWHAHAHA Rockstar is kings. GTA5 Soweto MUwhahaha
LOL, that would be so funny. I've always said they should make a GTA South Africa. Imagine running around in the open world and you find a strike protest. and you just take a car and drive into the crowd.....Achievement Unlocked: Hit 200 people with you are in less than 10seconds......just thinking out loud.....
You know what's really going to happen, of course, is that every server hosting a GTA 5 trailer (media partners like Gametrailers included) is going to get swamped and go offline for a while.
That happened with the very first trailer for GTA IV - I waited until late in the evening to see it, and then when it was officially unleashed, Rockstar went down, Gametrailers went down, as did every other host!
I hope the servers are better because millions are going to swamp to gametrailers, youtube, El33t and every site that will be airing it. GTA south africa will be great, you can go basejump from a building in Cape town and the police will just say what a great leap and walk away, hail a taxi in the street don't have pay him to run over red robots, over pedestrains and on the side of the road. Sell pirate goods in the street with no fear off the men in blue but anyway come on Rockstar where is the African luv.
I'm really not that excited for GTA V. I enjoyed Vice City and San Andreas but I had to force myself to play GTA IV. Yes, the story and characters were great but it just felt different from older GTA titles.
I think ... maybe I'm just over the whole gangster game thing.
