Battlefield 3 hasn’t even officially released yet and reports of its innards are already doing the rounds!
In a seemingly harmless and sincere unboxing video for the limited edition version of Battlefield 3, YouTube user Popogagnon uncovered a leaflet advertising something to do with Medal of Honor.
You can watch the video for yourself over here if you’d like, but if you’re just looking for the Medal of Honor information then we can spare you the hassle.
Included inside Popogagnon’s version of Battlefield 3 was a leaflet with the letters ‘MOH’ and ‘1’ printed thereupon, with an emblem of some sort as well. Underneath, a website address: medalofhonor.com
It looks a little something like this:
Currently, the website is adorned with content for 2010’s Medal of Honor franchise reboot, but this could soon change when Battlefield 3 officially launches around the world this week and EA and developer Danger Close might start ramping up awareness around a new Medal of Honor by riding the coattails of Battlefield’s hype machine.
We already knew that Danger Close was working on the next Medal of Honor game, and we can now expect it to release in 2012 in lieu of a new Battlefield title from EA and DICE.
El33tonline enjoyed 2010’s Medal of Honor overall, but felt that the singleplayer was a little underwhelming in parts - read our review of the game over here and let us know what you thought of it.

Comments:
I really enjoyed the 2010 MOH it was different and what was awesome is the fact that they based the story on an actual event that happened. The MP was extreamly addictive i put many an hour into my recon class....i cant wait for the next installment
Clever move EA - can't wait to hear more about this new MOH.
what i really love about MOH and what makes it deffirent from other shooters its coz its always based on real events :) thats why i love it ;)
Gotta love the way marketing creeps into every aspect of gaming. I`m open to it but not when it is put in a game during gameplay. takes away from the fantasy the game is supposed to create
I'm so excited that they making a new Medal of Honor. I've played them all (except the PS2 & PSP versions). The last one was so freakn awesome, I've put in so many hours online in that game. I think they will do a good job with MOH2 as they will take all the good things out of MOH1 and improve some of the small downfalls of the game. The biggest thing i loved about MOH MP was there wasn't a kill-cam and you had to go look for the sniper just like in real life.
I can't wait to get my Copy of Battlefield 2. Feel the Battle
I`ve only played MOH 1& Airborne. Some intense moments in that MOH:A. Can only imagine how the newer ones are.
@POltjie - Do you mean Battlefield 3?
ah man, sorry about that, I meant Battlefield 3. (Why did they put 2 next to 3, Why)
Airborne has some good action in it, same with Pacific Assault. The latest one that is out had some really good action in it, with a good story. See you on the Battlefield.
