Rockstar has today announced that those of you who might have missed the studio’s outstanding detective adventure title LA Noire will be able to pick the game up in a new form next month, when LA Noire: The Complete Edition becomes available.
Due for release on November 15th in North America and November 18th in Europe (and most everywhere else), The Complete Edition of LA Noire will not only include the full and far-reaching detective story of Cole Phelps, but will also feature all of the game’s released downloadable content.
Here’s the line-up:
- “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson case
- “Reefer Madness” Vice case
- “The Consul’s Car” Traffic case
- “The Naked City” Vice case
- “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case
- as well as the ‘Badge Pursuit Challenge and all weapons and outfits released to date.
This release on consoles will follow that of the PC version of the same game.
You can find a provided story recap for LA Noire below, but you’ll be better off reading El33tonline’s review of the game over here:
“As Detective Cole Phelps, players must search for clues, interrogate suspects and chase down criminals to solve a series of cases inspired by real world incidents.
As he rises through the ranks of the LAPD, Phelps comes face-to-face with the corrupt heart of Los Angeles: from fallen starlets to double-dealing police officers and the vast reaches of the criminal underworld – and finally, the darkness of his own personal demons.”

Comments:
I never bought this game, and now i can see why i never did, i was waiting for this release to come out. I'm so happy now.
This is Detective Optimusaim SA vice devision, i hear Poltjie that you have not played this game before, you know it's a crime against the good people at Team Bondi/Rockstar.Now tell me WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE STORE TO BUY THIS? >:(
Team Bondi are dead now, and it's because of people like you, POItjie!
Actually, the studio most likely closed down from the massively delayed development of the game and the dysfunctional relationship they developed with their holding company. I think it sold fairly well, didn't it?
And confession: I haven't played it either. Hopefully I will be able to get the complete edition at a decent price.
Yeah, the game sold very well, according to last released numbers.
The tale of Team Bondi is indeed a sad one... ;(
It wasn't in my gaming budget at the time. but I'll make sure that I'll get this version, as I'll save on the DLC's and it will be at a good price. I enjoy games like this.
I have come to dislike this game because of it's wtf ending and the fact that the dlc was content cut out of the game deliberately. This just maddens me to my inner core and every time I play it now I think of that. I enjoyed the game before all of this nonsense.
I personally agree there - if there wasn't space for the extra content on the disc/s, then they could have made it freely available (or at a low fee) online.
I haven't finished it, but I've heard people both praise and bemoan the ending to the game.
POLtjie and Greame you are under arrest for the murder of Team Bondi and are sentenced to death by firing squad next Friday on a map of my choice. Muwhahaha. It's up to Rockstar now.
Well i don't know who this POLtjie person is, but he needs to be shot. There can only be one name like that and its mine. Poitjie. But you can try and shoot me on the battlefield......
I'm looking forward to getting this game and will give my views of the ending. Maybe I'll be one of the people that like it......you never know.
And now everyone can play it :) Except well, ya know...Wii gamers XD
When is this game hitting the PC? i can't remember if its this one or Red Dead Redemption that was cancelled on the PC. I can't wait to get it, and i know the price is going to be really good and worth it.
RDR is not coming to PC, but as far as i know LA Noire is coming...
i played this on PS3 and REALLY enjoyed it. it was not without it's flaws, but still excellent. just dont expect this to be like GTA or even much like RDR.
