Zipper Interactive has revealed details of a new downloadable content pack for SOCOM 4. Demolition, the series’ most popular mode, returns in this new pack, which is available on the PlayStation Store now for $9.99.
The Demolition Pack includes the Demolition multiplayer game type as well as new maps, weapons and character skins. Demolition sees each team vying for control of a bomb placed on the map. “Once a team grabs the bomb, they need to carry it into the opposing team’s base, arm the bomb and defend it until the base is destroyed.”
And if you haven’t picked up a copy of SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs yet, there’s even better news because if you buy the game at select retailers you’ll receive a free voucher for the Demolition Pack.
The Demolition Pack includes four maps: Departure, Overflow, Bitter Jungle and Ruins. All four support the Demolition game type as well as many retail competitive modes. Six of the existing maps will also support Demolition. You’ll also get two new weapons, the HS-C3 and 552, as well as six new multiplayer skins with the new pack (more details over here).
Zipper Interactive also announced that the new Evac Co-op Pack will be available on the 1st of November for $7.99. It will introduce players to the Evac co-op mode and new co-op map, two new weapons and six character skins.
“In Evac, players are caught behind enemy lines and must fight their way out alive. Your pick-up vehicle is on-route to a designated location, and it’s up to you to fight your way there and defend the point until your exit arrives. Evac works across the original six cooperative missions as well as the new Onslaught location included in this pack. Onslaught also supports the original Espionage and Takedown cooperative modes.”

Man i love this game can't wait to jam the dlc
i never played this game, wonder what its like?
The multiplayer of SOCOM 4 is by far the best part of the game - I'd like to jump back in there once this year's new releases calm down a bit. ;)
I never played any of the SOCOM titles, the game looks good. isn't there a PSP title out somewhere?
