I think it’s fair to say that console games are not cheap, particularly their premium variants. However, Kalahari’s latest ‘deal of the week’ consists of up to 50% off the special editions for 37 games including the likes of Resistance 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Stock is obviously limited so head over here to see if there’s anything on the list which caters to your gaming appetite. Delivery is free until November 30th and 35 of the 37 games on offer will only take one day to arrive if you order before 12pm and live in one of South Africa’s main centers.
Here are some of the deals which caught my eye:
- Killzone 3 Collectors Edition - R300
- Killzone 3 Helghast Edition - R370
- Resistance 3 Special Edition - R360
- Resistance 3 Survivor Edition - R660
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition - R360
- Mortal Kombat 9 Kollectors Edition - R410
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Collector’s Edition - R570
Let us know if you ever come across any amazing specials and we may just report on it (after we’ve secured some stock for ourselves of course).

wow now this is what i call prise slash! to the max papie!
If i had the budget i would go for Mortal Kombat 9 and Resistance 3. and maybe the Deus Ex one aswell. There is too many too choose from.....
I bought myself Resistance 3 Special Edition and Deus Ex Augmented edition yesterday. Good thing about having to study all day and not having a social life? The funds, they stay in your bank account. Now, which one to play first when they arrive ...
I picked up a copy of Deus Ex: Augmented Edition, it's a pretty good price for it. Apart from that, not too much for an Xbox owner (I bought the Kollector's Edition of MK9 when it first came out).
Still, nice to see Kalahari doing a sale of their own, usually all their discounts related purely to supplier sales and so were not specific to Kalahari.
Mortal Kombat is there as well? sigh kalahari has this special on the worst possible time, I just spent R480 on Uncharted 3 with them, and the rest is going towards Nov releases. Want Deus Ex too. But I love that their prices for games are really good, less than R500 for AAA titles brand new, that's amazing, couldnt have said that last year. Nice to see these specials as well.
yeah - it's important we support the retailer (online or store-based) with the best prices and service. i've had nothing but good experiences with kalahari so far and hope it stays that way. also pre-ordered uncharted 3 from them(-: i didn't realise you could pre-order without a credit card until i read that you can buy an electronic voucher for the amount of the pre-order using a bank deposit and then use that voucher to pre-order whichever game you like. i've also cancelled a couple of pre-orders and got the full voucher amount added to my account within a matter of hours (even on weekends).
Really? An electronic voucher... I didnt know that. I've got the cash but no credit card and the parents don't trust buying things online with their credit cards. Well I can be very convincing, but still this could be a better option.
Kalahari is an awesome website. the electronic voucher system of theirs is awesome. I'm busy looking into something like that for my works website, as we get alot of people that still doesn't trust online buying with their credit cards.
