By now, you’re sure to have witnessed the intensely atmospheric, epic and military-themed trailers for Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and EA’s Battlefield 3, both of which exude very identifiable visual touches, action sequences and audio cues.
It seems as though people at THQ and Volition have seen these trailers, too, and together the publisher/developer pair have released a video of their own, only this time featuring Saints Row: The Third imbued with elements that are somehow very familiar:
Saints Row: The Third - Shock and Awesome Trailer
We’re sure you’ll agree, this trailer is fantastically produced and pulls off its references to both Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 perfectly - a little too perfectly, in fact.
It would be brilliant to see EA or Activision respond with a video of their own, but for now, we can look forward to the release of Saints Row: The Third on November 15th in the US and November 18th everywhere else, on Xbox 360 and PS3.
Look over El33tonline’s past coverage of Saints Row: The Third for more hilarity and pure cheek.

Comments:
This was a really awesome trailer, i actually prefer Saints Row over GTA. the trailer is really well made and I'm glad some game makers mock other games. its like the game Duty calls that Epic made to mock call of duty with their release of Bulletstorm,
POItjie saint row is all funny and gunny, plus co-op! makes it even more fun
I agree with you. I still haven't gotten the second one, but I'm still enjoying the first one. now where did i put my pimp hat
