The first Survival downloadable content pack for Resistance 3 is now available on the PlayStation Network.
The Survival DLC pack includes a new multiplayer game mode called Invasion, and costs $3.99. According to Insomniac Games, “the Invasion mode forces Human and Chimeran teams to divide their resources with the goal of holding multiple control nodes on the map simultaneously. The more nodes your team holds, the faster you score points – and thus, achieve victory.”
The DLC also includes special multiplayer skins of some of the survivors from the game: Herbert, Glenda, Jean and Charlie. And you’ll even get a bonus Resistance 3 Survivor Concept Art Static Theme.
Also keep an eye out for the new patch, which will “continue to address issues” when released, and include two new maps: the Creek and the Granary.

Comments:
I really need to get into this series. the game looks really good. i think there is also a dual pack out for resistance 1 & 2. will go have a look.
It's definitely worth taking a look at - Resistance 3 is one of my favourite games of 2011 so far. The campaign is great and multiplayer is awesome!
I will do, I've just gotten the PSP game, just haven't put it in my PSP yet. But will give these games a go. I don't do much online gaming on my PS3 as all my online gaming is done on my PC and Xbox.
