Yesterday we brought you news of the new Wii bundle for Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Winter Olympics, this one featuring a blue Wii for European gamers. Today we bring you news of another new Wii bundle that will be available across North America later this month.
This new Wii bundle will include a black Wii, a black Wii Remote Plus controller and a black Nunchuck controller, as well as a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii and a special Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack CD. The bundle will be available on the 23rd of October for $149.99.
The Wii console is newly configured, so does not support backwards-compatibility with the GameCube, and is designed to sit horizontally rather than vertically. The Super Mario Galaxy CD will only be available as part of this new bundle.
Of course you’ll also be able to buy the standard Wii bundle, including a black or white Wii console, matching Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk as well as a copy of Mario Kart Wii and Wii Wheel for $149.99. And this one features backwards compatibility…

That is an awesome bundle, see what i mean that the Black Wii looks a lot better than the blue one. i don't even know if you can call the other one blue, Mario is awesome and if you don't have a Wii and is thinking of buying one, this is one you wanna go for. Mario sound track, what more do you wanna ask for. That Mario game is really fun, its just like the original, but a lot cooler GFX.
Agreed, the black Wii looks better than the blue one - can't wait to see what bundle they come up with for Zelda: Skyward Sword - a gold one perhaps? ;)
a Gold one would look ....cool and weird at the same time. Would be nice if they made it Gold with the Zelda Logo on the side of the console.
