New Mario & Sonic blue Wii bundle revealed
Nintendo will be releasing a blue Wii bundle across Europe to celebrate the release of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The bundle will include a copy of the game, a blue Wii as well as a matching blue Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk plus a sticker sheet. Bear in mind that this is one of the newly configured Wii consoles, so it isn’t backwards-compatible with the GameCube anymore.
The new bundle will go on sale across Europe on the 18th of November, the price remains to be confirmed. Nintendo also promised to reveal details of a number of ‘other fun Wii bundles’ so keep your eyes peeled.

I still think the Red Wii still looks the best, i wish i had a red one, but I'll just have to mod my white Wii. that blue doesn't look to good i think. It should have been Sonic Blue. and whats up with the no backwards-compatible for GameCube??
We're going to see a lot of new colours over the coming weeks I think, as Nintendo ramps up for the Christmas period.
Do you still play GameCube games on your Wii? It's a nice feature to have, but I'm just not sure how many people still make use of this functionality.
i don't play GameCube games on my Wii, but i was just thinking of other people that might would like to do it.
Its strange they focusing so much on the Wii still as they getting ready with the Wii U. but i think that's a good thing. Don't looks focus on current consoles when working on future consoles.
Sounds to me like they real desperate for sales the wii can't compete with xbox and ps3
In my mind wii people are not real gamers lol enough said
then what are they Trebzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz?
Just wait until Zelda: Skyward Sword comes out, then we're going to see the Wii sales skyrocket. Same for the 3DS - when Super Mario 3D and Mario Kart 7 are released the 3DS is going to dominate.
the Wii is awesome. I love my House of the Dead 2 and 3. I still need to finish Dead Space extraction. but will get to it soon. Plus Mario is awesome. I would like to get myself a 3DS as its the only console i don't have, that and the PS Vita....maybe El33t can sponsor me an Vita ;)
Dead Space: Extraction was awesome - definitely play that one with the lights off ;)
If you like Mario now is a good time to invest in a 3DS - Super Mario and Mario Kart 7 are amazing games.
I played Dead Space extraction for 10min and my family said its too scary i need to turn it off. So I'll have to game it at night with the lights off and alone.....
I'm a big Mario fan. the only Mario games i don't have is Galaxy 1 & 2. still sad about that.....will have to get them.
POltjie, those are two of the best games on the Wii, you have to give them a go, especially if you already like Mario. Hey trebzz what is a "wii people" ;)
Mario is still my favourite! :)
