This epic action RPG sequel is still two months away from release, but EA and Bioware are keen to let us know about the first set of downloadable content (DLC) set to become available for Dragon Age 2 on release!
When Dragon Age 2 launches on March 11th in the UK and Europe, and March 8th in North America, guess what?
What?
Not only will you be able to pick up Bioware’s next masterpiece fantasy RPG (well, we hope anyway), but you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the first DLC pack for the game, entitled ‘The Exiled Prince,’ for 560 MS Points on Xbox LIVE.
The Exiled Prince is a three-mission content pack which sees the introduction of the noble archer, Sebastian Vael, who is on a quest to avenge the murder of his family. Naturally, you meet up with him and help him on his journey. From the blurb:
“Sworn to the priesthood as a boy, Sebastian is forced to re-enter the viper’s nest of princely politics when his family is brutally murdered, leaving him as the sole surviving heir.”
You’ll be able to choose to help Sebastian avenge his slaughtered family, or rather use his skills to destroy your enemies in an area known as Kirkwall. Throughout Dragon Age 2, with the addition of this DLC, you’ll also be able to use Sebastian in most of your own adventures in the main storyline.
If you don’t like the idea of buying this DLC separately from Dragon Age 2 on launch day, you can always pre-order the game before January 11th (better hurry!) in order to get the Signature Edition of the title, which includes The Exiled Prince, as well as the game’s digital soundtrack and an exclusive in-game digital armoury with a few in-game weapons.
