Sorry fans, Final Fantasy Agito XIII is no more.
You’ll need to start referring to Square Enix’s PSP game as Final Fantasy Type 0 instead!
Releasing this ‘Summer’ in Japan for Sony’s handheld, Final Fantasy Type 0 has been confirmed as the new title for a game that’s been known to be in existence since 2008, but has had relatively little revealed about it in the years since its unveiling.
According to Square Enix, Final Fantasy Type 0 will be crammed onto no less than two UMDs, no doubt as a result of all of those fantastic CG sequences that you’ll be watching over the course of the game.
You can watch an example of one of those awesome scenes below, but if you’d like to remain ‘pure’ you can wait for a higher quality version of the video when it’s released on January 27th:
