A brand new trailer for EA and Slightly Mad Studio’s next Need For Speed game, SHIFT 2 Unleashed, has announced the release date for this arcade/realism hybrid racer, and includes some shockingly amazing in-game footage to get the Hype ‘o Meter revving.
When SHIFT 2 Unleashed becomes available on March 29th in North America, March 24th in Europe and March 25th in the UK, the intensely frenetic racing title will include Autolog, the online social technology first introduced with Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (and the reason members of El33tonline are staying up late to try and beat one another’s race times!).
The ‘release trailer’ for SHIFT 2 is included below. Mind your jaw:

Comments:
I'm still obsessed with Hot Pursuit - but there's always space on my shelf for another great racer, Shift don't let me down!
I really enjoyed the first Shift game, and now with Autolog, improved graphics, a new racing engine and more features, this might just be this year's Hot Pursuit (although more realistic).
