Tecmo Koei’s next entry to the Dead or Alive franchise is all set to appear on Nintendo’s next handheld, the 3DS, and it’s recently been announced that this new fighting game will be called Dead or Alive: Dimensions.
Get it? Because the 3DS does… the whole… stereoscopic 3D thing? Great.
So far, the character roster for Dead or Alive: Dimensions includes Kasumi, Ayane, Raidou and Hayate, while one of the stages shown off includes a mountain location.
All of the ‘special features’ found in previous Dead or Alive games will apparently be present in Dimensions, and the game is currently in development at franchise originator, Team Ninja, under the direction of Yousuke Hayashi.
