If Geoff ‘The Dean’ Keighley is to be believed, we could be eyeballing a snippet of multiplayer from Dead Space 2 as early as this Friday.

As Keighley has proven himself to be pretty reliable in the past, one of his latest Twitter tweets can probably be trusted, as he posted:

“Dead Space 2 multiplayer reveal is coming up on this Friday night’s GTTV - more details soon.”

If you thought that was cool, EA proper will be revealing Dead Space 2 multiplayer in more detail next week, as revealed by another Twitter tweet, this time by the Dead Space team:

“Getting ready to start multiplayer event! Stay tuned for more details coming 9/13!”

So not only will we get a look at Dead Space 2’s multiplayer on Friday, but next week Monday is when we can expect to discover even more details on the portion of the game that the team has managed to keep very quiet indeed…

Exciting times!

Dead Space 2 is shaping up to be an extremely excellent title indeed, as we happened to notice during our hands-on with the title at gamescom 2010.
